Design Process

The first and most important step of the design process is the compilation of a design brief. We discuss each client’s requirements at length to ensure their demands are met.

The designer will then develop a scheme and assemble sample boards showing recommendations for finishes for walls and floors, examples of suitable furniture and lighting, and fabric samples for curtaining and upholstery, to help the client visualise what is being suggested.  Scale plans are also produced to show the layout of the room and how it will function.

These layout plans and mood boards act as a spring board for discussion with the client. When they are fully happy with the proposed scheme, a design specification is produced detailing the agreed design in full, along with a comprehensive quotation.
